Position and Responsibilities

The role is primarily an office-based position with potential flexibility to work from home one day a week. The Clinical Lead will primarily be located in one of the Apollo Home Healthcare offices in Heywood, Wolverhampton, or Peterborough.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the clinical operations of home healthcare services to ensure high standards of care.
• Providing clinical leadership and support to healthcare teams, specifically Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
• Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conducting regular audits and quality assurance checks to uphold and enhance care standards.
• Offering training, mentorship, and professional developmental opportunities for clinical staff.
• Ensuring effective communication and collaboration with clients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Monitoring and reporting on clinical performance metrics and outcomes.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in a digitalisation project set to commence in 2025, which involves transitioning from paper-based systems to digital care records. This will entail:

• Supporting the input and migration of clinical data into the new system.
• Providing training and support to Clinical Nurse Specialists in adapting to the digital system.
• Acting as a Superuser of the new digital system.
• Assisting in the creation of digital clinical documentation tailored to client profiles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following credentials:

• Registered Nurse (adult's or children's) with a valid NMC PIN.
• Extensive experience in a clinical leadership role, preferably within home healthcare or a similar environment.
• Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR).
• A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping abreast of clinical advancements.

Salary and Benefits
