About the Role

The Paid Marketing Director is a strategic leader responsible for the global paid media agenda, encompassing the planning, execution, and optimization of paid marketing initiatives. This role includes oversight of customer acquisition, performance marketing, brand marketing campaigns, and leading a global team of paid media experts. The director collaborates across various departments, including Marketing, Design, Product, and Analytics, to ensure cohesive user experiences across all marketing channels and products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the overall paid marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals.
  • Manage paid marketing campaigns across numerous platforms.
  • Strategically allocate budgets to maximize ROI and meet KPIs.
  • Deploy data-driven insights for optimization.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and apply innovative strategies to stay competitive.
  • Lead and mentor the team of paid media professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Knowledge & Experience

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years of experience in paid marketing, with a history of strategic leadership and managing large budgets. Proficiency in various paid media platforms and analytics, as well as strong team management and communication skills, are key. An understanding of Programmatic, Marketing Automation, and SEO is also highly regarded.
