Role of a Customer Success Manager

A Customer Success Manager at PagerDuty plays a critical role in the customer lifecycle, assisting with on-boarding, configuration, and product adoption. These managers work closely with Sales to develop engagement strategies, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and lead strategic meetings. They are proactive in addressing areas where customers may not be fully capitalizing on the product and are skilled at using data to evaluate and tackle potential churn risks. Furthermore, these managers are advocates for the customer within the company and strive to help them achieve success through the PagerDuty platform.

About the Ideal Candidate

The perfect candidate for this position would possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and have substantial experience in customer-facing roles. They should be familiar with supporting technical products and able to facilitate new customer on-boarding. Candidates should be adept at using analytical tools, demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills, and have a track record of performing well under pressure. Previous Salesforce experience and 3 to 5 years in a similar position are required.
