Senior SEO Specialist Role

The Senior SEO Specialist at Upfeat will take a dual approach, focusing on on-page technical analysis and audits, as well as collaborating with content teams for content gap analysis, keyword research, and content alignment with Google's guidelines for quality and user-focused information. This role involves working with various internal teams to ensure the implementation of SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular content gap analysis and keyword research to inspire new content initiatives.
• Keep track of competitors and adjust strategies accordingly within the coupon landscape.
• Address Google algorithm updates and make site and content modifications to stay in tune with SEO advancements.
• Act as an SEO expert within the company, guiding projects and integrating SEO best practices at a larger scale.
• Establish clear goals and use analytics to monitor these goals.
• Spot SEO growth opportunities through technical audits and comprehensive research.
• Develop SEO reports and scale successful strategies based on their performance.
• Employ no-code/automation tools and AI for various SEO tasks.
• Handle other duties as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 3 years of high-level SEO experience, specifically within the eCommerce/online savings industry.
• Past management of SEO strategy for a website with over 1 million organic traffic per month.
• Proficient in data analysis, with a strong emphasis on using quantitative data for decision-making and pattern recognition.
• Skilled in process documentation and the use of automation tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detailed knowledge and hands-on experience in SEO strategy, technical SEO, and creating revenue-driven SEO content.
• Expertise with various SEO and analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and others.
• A history of boosting website health, increasing Domain Authority (DA), and securing a rise in non-branded website visits.
• Familiar with no-code tools and the no-code space in general.
