Purpose of the SEO Specialist Role

The SEO Specialist at Envato will be responsible for improving and maintaining organic website traffic and engagement for non-transactional content on Envato's web properties. This involves strategic advising, collaborating with teams for successful implementation of SEO practices, and reporting on competitive analysis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifying and mitigating risks to traffic and engagement.
  • Assisting internal teams to align new releases with SEO best practices.
  • Driving traffic and engagement growth according to business metrics.
  • Performing ad hoc and recurring SEO reporting and analysis.
  • Testing SEO theories and practices.
  • Sharing SEO knowledge with internal teams.
  • Owning organic search performance for non-transactional content.
  • Fulfilling workplace health and safety obligations.

Key Skills and Abilities for Applicants

  • Demonstrated understanding of Content SEO.
  • Strong analytical skills relating to Content Marketing and Organic Search.
  • Ability to support recommendations with data and best practices.

Required Technical Skills and Experience

  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • At least 5 years of SEO experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on Content SEO, preferably in eCommerce.
  • Proven experience with SEO strategies on large-scale websites (100k+ pages) with non-transactional content.
