Job Summary

The SW Functional Safety Manager role at Tenstorrent, which is remote yet preferably based out of Taipei, Taiwan or North America, is a vital position that involves ensuring the safety and compliance of software development for automotive applications. The manager will be leading the team towards achieving ISO26262 and ASPICE standards, thus ensuring the delivery of top-notch solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulating strategies to comply with ISO26262 and ASPICE throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Developing the software functional safety product roadmap and strategizing certification approaches.
• Creating a comprehensive safety plan for software products and promoting its implementation and adherence.
• Leading the software engineering team through various stages of software development to meet the safety requirements.
• Working with third-party assessors and customers to manage software functional safety tasks efficiently.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure they are informed of the program goals and progress.

Experience & Qualifications

A successful candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, experience in ISO26262 certification processes especially for ADAS or autonomous driving applications, proficiency in functional safety software development and ASPICE standards, AI/ML toolchain development skills, as well as programming expertise in C, C++ and Python. Additional familiarity with automotive software stacks and safety standards is also beneficial.
