Job Title and Role

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to focus on technical design and problem-solving activities.
• Optimize current infrastructure and architectural components to leverage the advantages of cloud platforms effectively.
• Oversee the entire implementation process, which includes designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining features across the company’s systems.
• Design scalable and maintainable systems while ensuring high availability.
• Develop multi-tenant RESTful services at scale.

Required Skills

To thrive in this role, the following skills and experiences are essential:

• At least 12 years of commercial software development experience using an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language (Java, C#, or Go are preferred).
• Proficient in AWS technologies, including but not limited to EC2, IAM, Route 53, and Elastic Load Balancing.
• Current working knowledge of open-source technologies like Spring, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, and others.
• Experience with scripting languages, particularly Linux Shell and Python.
• An understanding of Immutable Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code patterns using tools such as Docker and Ansible.
• Strong verbal and communication skills are necessary.
• Experience mentoring others is a plus, as the company seeks leaders who can foster growth within their teams.

Nice to Have

While the following skills are not mandatory, they would enhance a candidate's profile:

• Experience in building enterprise-level software.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies for software development.

Salary and Compensation

The salary range for this role is competitive, reported between $200,000 to $300,000 CAD annually, which complies with local regulations.
