Deliverables: Key deliverables include architecture documents, source code in Java for developed components, component documentation, development guides, and standards.
To qualify for the position, candidates must meet several key requirements:
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Software Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience. The lack of a degree can be compensated with six (6) years of additional experience in the IT sector.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years in information technology is required, along with a significant previous project experience as a Java architect, particularly in at least one multi-platform project spanning five (5) years in Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
Service-Oriented Architecture: Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) or microservices will be highly beneficial.
Technical Proficiency: Candidates should have a minimum of six (6) months experience in development using at least three (3) of six specified technologies, including Java EE5 platforms or higher, JSF framework, EJB3 framework, JPA framework, UML, etc.
Additional skills that would be considered an asset include:
Cloud Experience: Familiarity with at least one cloud service provider, whether Amazon or Microsoft Azure.
Agile Methodologies: Participation in at least one information systems development project using the Agile methodology.
Government Experience: Any prior experience in a project working with governmental or quasi-governmental organizations for no less than six months is advantageous.
