As a Finance Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in accounting and reporting for global entities.
Interacting with the accounting operations team to ensure accurate recording of vendor bills and company invoices.
Managing the recording of banking activity essential for monthly management accounting.
Calculating funding requirements monthly and liaising with the treasury department.
Preparing financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in compliance with local GAAP for group consolidation reporting.
Preparing and submitting VAT returns to relevant tax authorities.
Preparing and submitting income tax returns (CIT returns).
Supporting Group and statutory audits by addressing queries and efficiently resolving issues.
Documenting processes to align with SOX requirements.
Maintaining financial controls on processes to uphold SOX requirements.
Assisting the Finance team with the design, testing, and roll-out of financial reporting systems and other ad-hoc projects.
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
A university degree in economics, finance, or accounting, and/or ACCA qualification.
Experience in accounting for daily operations of legal entities including management of fixed assets, expenses, and accounts payable.
Knowledge in managing banking operations and cash flow planning.
Experience supporting annual audits and responding adeptly to requests.
An understanding of special management requests for financial analysis and cost control.
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
Proficiency with MS Office tools and finance software (experience with NetSuite is advantageous).
A strong work ethic and passion for financial analysis and reporting.
Comfort with handling large volumes of information and data.
