Job Position: People Operations Manager

The People Operations Manager will be pivotal in enhancing our impact-driven culture and facilitating our ambitious team growth as one of the first hires in our expanding People Department. This fully remote position allows candidates to work from anywhere within the USA, making it accessible to exceptional talent regardless of geographical limitations.

Responsibilities

As the People Operations Manager, you will be tasked with various responsibilities that include:

  • Payroll and Benefits: Develop and implement new employee benefits structures, administer payroll, and assist new hires with their benefits selection.
  • Recruitment: Aid in crafting recruitment strategies for various roles, manage job postings, and facilitate onboarding processes.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations whilst reviewing policies for compliance.

  • Performance Management: Assist in developing a new performance management system and monitor performance across the organization.

  • Culture Advocate: Promote and perpetuate our organizational culture while helping to develop employee recognition programs.

  • General HR Functions: Respond to HR-related inquiries, manage critical programs, and handle various people-related tasks such as disciplinary matters and training development.



Required Skills

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills:

  • At least three years of experience in Human Resources Management or Administration.
  • Proficiency in Payroll management and employee benefits.
  • Preference for candidates with Recruitment and talent management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in GSuite; familiarity with Deel or TeamTailor is an advantage.
