Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for the People Operations Specialist include:

  • Data Preparation for Payroll & Finance: You will be tasked with collecting, verifying, and organizing employee data pertinent to payroll, which includes managing records of new hires, salary changes, bonuses, PTO, and equity updates. Ensuring data accuracy and completeness to maintain integrity across all records is critical in this role.

  • Benefits Administration: Another vital aspect will be the administration of employee benefits, which involves enrolling, updating, and terminating employees regarding health care, pensions, and insurance. Additionally, informing and liaising with service providers to ensure benefits are applied accurately and premiums tracked.

  • HRIS & EOR Platform Management: The role requires maintaining updated employee records in HRIS platforms like BambooHR and contractor management systems such as Deel and Remote.com. You will utilize these systems to generate reports and automate processes, thus improving operational efficiency and reducing manual workloads.

  • HR Admin Support: Tasks will also include preparing HR documentation, managing contracts and amendments, and facilitating smooth onboarding processes. Furthermore, you will need to respond quickly to employee inquiries concerning benefits, pay, and other HR-related matters.
