Job Overview
The primary responsibility of the Workflow Developer is to develop high-quality SAP Master Data and Transactional Workflows using various SAP tools and utilities. The candidate will be designing, developing, and maintaining SAP Business Workflows and ABAP Web Dynpro applications.
Responsibilities
The duties include:
Ensuring that development governance is followed and enhanced, maintaining standards, best practices, and guidelines.
Evaluating and selecting off-the-shelf commercial workflow solutions and integrating them into the client ecosystem.
Continuously providing innovative solutions by understanding industry trends and applying them to project needs through proof of concepts.
Designing, developing, and maintaining SAP Business Workflows via tools like workflow Builder and Business Object Builder.
Creating specialized reports for SAP using ABAP programming languages and developing reports, workflows, and metrics within the software environment.
Debugging and correcting SAP module problems using ABAP programming language.
Contributing to developing process standards and evaluation of tools as needed.
Developing all RICEF objects and troubleshooting using ABAP skills.
Required Skills
Candidates should have the following qualifications and experiences:
6 to 9 years of experience in SAP ABAP Workflow.
Hands-on experience with CDS objects, AMDP Procedures, OData services, and SAP Workflow development.
Experience with RICEF specific to ALE/EDI/IDOCS interfaces.
Proficiency in User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and new enhancement frameworks.
A general technical and functional understanding of SAP FICO, SD, and MM transactions.
Advanced expertise in SAP master data within ECC and S/4 environments.
Primary Skills
Proficient in SAP Workflow development.
Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori is an added advantage.
Secondary Skills
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with business and project teams.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Overall Business Acumen and the ability to provide coaching/feedback to others.
Work Environment
This is a remote position, allowing flexibility in location. The successful candidate may need to handle minimal physical demands, like lifting up to 10 lbs.
