The Senior Recruiter will handle multiple crucial tasks that contribute to the effective and efficient recruitment of top talent for DroneDeploy. Responsibilities include:
Managing full-cycle recruitment, which encompasses sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates across diverse roles, including individual contributors and leadership positions. The expectation is to fill 10 to 15 roles every quarter.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers to understand precise role requirements, team needs, and hiring goals.
Crafting accurate and engaging job descriptions and creating comprehensive interview kits to facilitate candidate evaluations.
Developing tailored recruitment strategies designed to attract top talent through various methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and employee referrals.
Ensuring a positive candidate experience from the initial contact through the onboarding process.
Conducting structured interviews and guiding hiring teams on best practices for interviewing and selecting candidates.
Tracking and analyzing recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill and source effectiveness, to identify areas for process improvements.
Developing and maintaining an active candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs, thereby supporting long-term team staffing.
Acting as a brand ambassador to promote DroneDeploy’s culture, mission, and values to potential candidates.
Continuously enhancing recruitment practices to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
Providing mentorship and interview training to hiring teams to strengthen their recruitment skills.
To be a successful candidate for this role, applicants must demonstrate several key qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of in-house recruiting experience, particularly in SaaS environments or other fast-paced settings.
A proven track record of filling 10–15 roles per quarter across both technical and non-technical positions, including leadership and individual contributor roles.
Expertise in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems such as Lever for sourcing and managing candidates.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple requisitions and conflicting priorities effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and present information clearly.
A data-driven approach to recruitment, with experience in tracking and reporting key recruiting metrics.
A solid understanding of best practices in hiring, along with ways to leverage industry trends to improve recruitment strategies.
Self-motivated and collaborative, able to thrive in a remote-first environment while managing time zones effectively.
An aptitude for mentoring and coaching hiring teams while specializing in targeted recruitment strategies for niche skill sets.
Flexibility to occasionally travel domestically for meetings, conferences, or company events when required.
