Designing, analyzing, coding, modifying, and supporting CSG’s Ascendon product applications.
Building scalable, maintainable, and enterprise-grade systems.
Continuously improving assigned areas through scripting, automation, or application packaging.
Resolving complex engineering challenges, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring systems in customer-facing environments.
Mentoring and guiding junior team members, contributing to code reviews and design discussions, and participating in recruitment activities.
Adopting new technologies and architectures while enjoying problem-solving.
To qualify for the Software Engineer Lead position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a technically related field, or equivalent professional experience.
8+ years of experience in software development and support/maintenance.
Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL querying, Web Services, REST, xUnit, and ASP.NET Core.
Exposure to serverless microservice architectures (e.g., AWS Fargate/Lambda).
Experience with popular cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services.
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-code tools (preferably Terraform).
Experience in both relational and non-relational databases (like DynamoDB).
Capable of integrating with external APIs and utilizing version control systems (like Git).
A strong understanding of CI/CD processes as well as proficiency in AI technologies and their application in software development.
Experience within the telecom BSS business domain is a plus.
Availability for an on-call rotation, and fluency in English—both written and spoken.
