Advocate for a “Shift Left” approach to quality, which emphasizes identifying issues early in the design and development phases, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the software development process.
Continuously seek to enhance testing processes and expand test coverage, leading to better software quality.
Document and track defects to resolution using tools like JIRA or similar systems. This will involve managing the lifecycle of reported issues to ensure timely fixes.
Manage and configure test environments efficiently for optimal performance. This ensures that testing conditions closely mimic production environments, leading to more accurate testing outcomes.
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field that emphasizes systematic and analytical thinking.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality engineering or scripting, showcasing prior hands-on experience in a relevant role.
A curious mindset with a strong ability to analyze and debug software issues. The company is looking for an engineer who is passionate about testing and enjoys uncovering the reasons behind software breakdowns.
