Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for this position, the following minimum qualifications are necessary:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Public Trust Background Investigation: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation. This includes a favorable Tier 2 – Moderate Risk Public Trust (SF-85P) investigation.

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years in back-end development is required, of which at least 3 years should be in a senior or lead developer capacity.

• Agile Methodologies: Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks that facilitate iterative releases.

  

• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 800-53 standards is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CompTIA Sec+ (or equivalent baseline DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification) would be a plus.

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or other relevant cloud certifications.

• Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or any Agile-related certifications.

• Further credentials like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), and Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) are also preferred.
