Job Position: Finance Manager/Lead

ICG is actively seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager/Lead to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring that the company's financial data is accurate, timely, and reliable for effective business decision-making. As a Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the collection and accuracy of financial data, adherence to compliance obligations, and producing meticulous financial reports.

This position is a full-time, remote role available for applicants in Canada, the UK, or the EU.

Responsibilities

The Finance Manager/Lead will be entrusted with several key responsibilities:

Accounting Ownership: The individual will oversee the monthly closing process, making sure that the closure occurs within 3 business days. Responsibilities include handling revenue and expense bookings from various systems, applying inter-company transfer pricing, creating accruals, and executing journal entries. The position requires managing accounts from 15 global entities.

Financial Reporting: The Finance Manager will prepare individual reports for distinct legal entities and create a consolidated view for operating groups and the company as a whole. This involves generating Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and other relevant management reports.

Tax Coordination: As ICG operates across Canada, the USA, and the EU, the Finance Manager will assist with sales tax and VAT calculations as well as reporting and filing. They will also be responsible for coordinating with external tax partners on year-end preparation, corporate filings, and tax optimization projects.

Automation & Scalable Systems: The successful candidate will utilize modern technology, tools, and AI to optimize and automate repetitive tasks. ICG encourages innovations that aim to replace monotonous work rather than the employees themselves.
