The Role of IT Manager
UniUni is seeking an IT Manager responsible for overseeing corporate IT for its users in North America. This role entails hands-on management, where the successful candidate will directly engage with tasks like handling support tickets, building laptops, and configuring Intune policies. Responsibilities
The IT Manager will take charge of several key areas:
Identity, Devices, and Endpoints
Entra ID Management: Overseeing user lifecycle, group strategies, conditional access policies, and implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Device Management: Administering the corporate device fleet through Intune, including enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment.
Security Operations: Utilizing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to manage security alerts and maintain protection across the organization’s devices.
Process Documentation: Establishing and maintaining a clear joiner-mover-leaver process that works with HR and security teams.
Microsoft 365 and Productivity

Qualifications
Candidates for the IT Manager role should possess:
10+ years of experience in corporate IT, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within organizations of 200 or more employees.
Strong operational expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Entra ID and Intune, with a comfort level managing both Windows and macOS environments.
A solid understanding of identity management processes, including SSO, MFA, and conditional access.
Proven experience in running an effective help desk, evidenced by positive employee feedback and defined service levels.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001, along with experience in scripting and automated processes using tools like PowerShell.
A service-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate effectively and manage user frustrations tactfully.
