Key Responsibilities

The Regional Payroll Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Payroll Processing: Supervise the end-to-end payroll process for the East Coast region, ensuring accuracy and on-time execution.

  • Adherence to Payroll Policies: Evaluate payroll procedures and guide employees and the payroll team regarding compliance with policies. It’s essential to keep procedures updated according to regulatory changes.

  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to relevant federal, state, and local payroll laws.

  • Team Leadership: Act as a mentor to the regional payroll team, providing direction and support.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present payroll reports to the Payroll Director and other stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and relevancy.

  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies, collaborating closely with the HR department.

  • System Management: Maintain and optimize payroll systems and software. Coordinate with the Payroll Director and team regarding any system-related issues.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose process improvements aimed at enhancing payroll efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaboration Across Departments: Work closely with departments like HR and Finance to ensure seamless payroll operations.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for the Regional Payroll Manager position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable relevant field, or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, preferably within a regional or multi-location context to manage diverse payroll needs.

  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in payroll systems and software, as well as effective organizational and leadership skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, particularly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient analytical and numerical skills, including a high level of comfort with Excel.

Salary Information
