  • Overseeing carriers and third-party safety vendors in creating and executing effective risk control programs.
  • Conducting detailed assessments focused on workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto liability to assist in safety, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects in a flexible and efficient manner.
  • Staying current with the clients’ business operations, objectives, and relevant programs to provide tailored support.
  • Continuously expanding expertise in policy coverage, regulatory requirements, and industry trends in risk control.
  • Working within a framework dedicated to continuous improvement for better service delivery.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for the position of Risk Control Consultant, candidates must possess:

  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in insurance brokerage, carrier operations, or as an independent safety/risk control consultant.
  • A deep understanding of casualty lines including workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto liability.
  • Experience across various industries such as manufacturing, construction, food service, healthcare, aerospace, and retail.
  • Proficiency in loss analysis, including data integrity assessments, trend identification, and corrective action planning.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards such as OSHA, DOT, and NFPA 101.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to oversee and communicate effectively with clients and safety personnel.

Preferred certifications may include CIH, CSP, CPE, and ARM, showcasing an advanced level of industry knowledge and capability.
