Job Overview

The position of Senior Contracts and Budget Associate is a full-time opportunity at Precision for Medicine. The primary objective of this role is to prepare, draft, negotiate, and manage various legal agreements integral to clinical research activities. This includes Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDA), Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA), amendments to these agreements, and related documentation. The selected candidate will closely collaborate with the Clinical Operations team and play a significant role in ensuring that all contractual deliverables align with the established project timelines and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Candidates applying for the position should be prepared to handle several critical functions, such as:

  • Drafting, preparing, and negotiating different types of agreements including CDAs, CTAs, and vendor contracts.
  • Leading communication with internal study teams in both North America and Europe as required.
  • Liaising with various sites regarding contractual agreements and sponsors.
  • Working alongside supervisors and other stakeholders to address and resolve any contractual issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and all relevant contracting standards.
  • Regularly updating involved parties about the status of contracts, negotiations, and any executions.
  • Maintaining organized records and databases of contract files, emails, and related documentation.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors that pertain to contract management.

Required Qualifications

Prospective applicants must meet specific qualifications to be considered for the role:

  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of experience in contract management, preferably within a clinical research or similar industry.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience that involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements related to clinical research, including Non-Disclosure Agreements and Clinical Trial Agreements.
  • Familiarity with the lifecycle of contracts, particularly under the context of budget management and tracking.
  • Previous experience within the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries is highly preferred.
