This role includes direct leadership, with responsibilities such as hiring, termination, coaching, and conducting meetings with various levels of staff and executives.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in Science or Business Administration, extensive experience with Epic Professional Billing and AthenaHealth EMR software, and a certification as a Professional Coder. Candidate must possess experience managing physician revenue cycles, demonstrate thorough understanding of all payers, and have strong analytical skills with Microsoft Excel proficiency. Compliance with HIPAA regulations is mandatory.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, strategical and tactical thinking, the ability to manage ambiguities, and direct personnel towards shared goals effectively.
