Job Overview

Omega CRM Consulting is on the lookout for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform Manager who is passionate about collaborating with one of the top 15 global pharmaceutical companies. Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be integral in enabling campaign journeys through several responsibilities that include:

  • Designing and Managing Campaign Workflows: You will ensure that all campaign workflows and deliveries align with business needs as defined in the campaign briefings provided by different markets.

  • Quality Assurance: You’ll be responsible for maintaining high-end quality throughout campaigns, ensuring that they are set up correctly for measurement and QA testing.

  • Process Ownership: Owning and optimizing the processes surrounding campaign automation is essential. This includes driving innovation ideas to enhance efficiency and quality in campaign outputs.

  • Technical Specifications and Testing: Involvement in technical spec input and user acceptance testing (UAT) for software enhancements within the marketing automation toolset.

  • Debugging and Reporting: Working alongside IT support to debug workflow and delivery issues while also documenting any platform problems to track issues effectively.

  • Documentation and Development: You will also be required to create and maintain documentation regarding enhancements, templates, and technical processes, as well as assist in developing script enhancements such as JavaScript and schema extensions.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Campaign Support Services team to maintain communication across platforms and ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The role requires a combination of technical acumen and project management capabilities. Key qualifications include:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in technical studies or business administration is preferred, particularly with a strong technical foundation.

  • Campaign Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects while effectively prioritizing tasks is crucial.

  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Campaign is essential, while knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) adds extra value.

  • Technical Certifications: Possession of technical marketing automation certifications, ideally as an Architect or Developer in any enterprise marketing automation platform.

  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with databases, SQL, ETL processes, and web (API) interactions is a plus.

  • Programming Proficiency: Proficient knowledge in ampscript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; familiarity with Python is advantageous.

  • Understanding of SDLC: A strong grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) enhances your capability to succeed in this role.

  • Atlassian: Experience with Atlassian tools like Confluence, JIRA, and BitBucket is beneficial.

  • Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including tools like Veeva CRM, is a plus.

  • Self-Motivation and Detail Orientation: The role requires a self-starter who pays great attention to detail and is adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required to ensure effective communication.
